It is with pride and pleasure that Barden Ridgebacks Football Club announce that our own Greg O’Rourke has been appointed to the position of ‘Head of the A-League’ within the Football Federation of Australia.
Greg, a BRFC Life Member, is a former Ridgebacks President and currently struts his stuff in our O/45’s.
Following Greg’s tenure as Ridgebacks President he was appointed to the position of Sutherland Shire Football Association President and more recently as the Chairman of Football NSW.
It is indeed pleasing to know that there is now a little bit of ‘Ridgebacks’ at the highest level of football in Australia.
On behalf of Barden Ridgebacks Football Club we would like to congratulate Greg and wish him every success in his new role.
It is great to know that someone can come from grass roots football and reach the heights of the professional game in Australia.
